Privacy notice
How we handle your enquiry.
This notice covers the details you send through our project enquiry form. The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we receive the details you type into the form:
- your name and email address, and your company or studio if you add it;
- your project outline, and any project type, size, quantity, date, delivery location, budget or reference link you choose to share.
To stop automated spam we also record a scrambled (hashed) version of your connection’s IP address. We cannot turn it back into the address, and we only use it to limit how many enquiries one connection can send in a short time.
We also record the approximate country your enquiry was sent from, worked out from your connection by our website host. It helps us understand where enquiries come from and plan delivery.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to you, understand your project and, with your agreement, introduce you to our specialist partner. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
Who we share it with
With your agreement, we pass your enquiry to our specialist transparent LED partner, based in the European Union, so they can contact you, assess your window and quote. From then on they handle your details under their own privacy notice. We also use companies that host our website, database and email, only to run this site.
We will not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing because you sent an enquiry.
How long we keep it
If a project goes ahead, we keep your enquiry with the records for that project. If it does not, we delete your enquiry 24 months after our last contact with you. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the details we hold about you;
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong;
- ask us to delete your details;
- object to how we use them.
To make a request, send it through our enquiry form and say it is a privacy request. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK’s data protection regulator.
